Reaching level 70 is one of the most outstanding achievements as you complete a great Burning Crusade Power Leveling. Still, though, when you reach this milestone, you have many more activities in the end-game content. In other words, you just got another step to becoming one of the best players on your server.
People usually tend to look for different activities that help them increase their equipment levels and gather the best TBC Items. In World of Warcraft, you can look for the best goodies in the game when you participate in the challenging places of Azeroth (and the Outlands). Therefore you could join a capable Guild and travel between Elite Dungeons and Raids.
Most noteworthy, even though you recently reach the top level (70), sometimes you’ll need to complete multiple quests that give you the “right” to enter a Raid. In this article, we’ll discuss the different steps you’ll need to follow to unlock the Sepentshrine Cavern in WoW Classic TBC.
How to Attune To Serpentshrine Cavern
Before we focus on the subject, you’ll need to unlock previous Raids from the expansion, leading you to enter the Serpentshrine Cavern. Indeed, to proceed in these guidelines, you’ll need to uncover the secrets of Karazhan (and the Reservoir Key). If you already have access, you have an easy way to attune your character for this 25-Man Raid located in Zangarmarsh.
If you want to unlock this great Raid, you’ll need to follow these steps:
- Find Skar’this the Heretic:
Find a group of capable players, travel to Zangarmarsh, and enter The Slave Pens (Heroic version). Move between the multiple mobs (monsters) until you reach the first boss, “Mennu the Betrayer,” a broken Draenei Shaman.
After defeating this menacing enemy, look for “Skar’this the Heretic,” locked inside a cage. Lastly, he will offer a quest (The Cudgel of Kar’desh), which requires both an Earthen Signet and a Blazing Signet.
- Loot the Earthen Signet:
You’ll need a Raid group and travel to Gruul’s Lair from this next step. This part isn’t an easy task because you’ll need to proceed inside this challenging place until you reach the final boss. When you manage to defeat “Gruul the Dragonkiller,” you can obtain the Earthen Signet from its corpse.
- Gather the Blackened Urn:
You’ll need to be “Honored” with The Violet Eye first to begin this step. Afterward, you’ll unlock a quest called “Medivh’s Journal” from the NPC (Non-Playable Character) named Archmage Alturus. This NPC appears outside of Karazhan. Ask for your Guild’s assistance once more, and travel to the Raid.
When you defeat four of the mighty bosses, you’ll find the NPC called “Wravien,” complete the quest, and he’ll give you two more (In Good Hands and Kamsis). Luckily, the first ques (In Good Hands) has almost no challenge because the required NPC, Gradav, is in the same room.
Furthermore, when you find the next NPC, Kamsis, talk to her, and she will give you the next step, “The Shade of Aran.” This time around, you’ll have to defeat the boss named “Shade of Aran.” When you beat this boss, you can loot the Medivh’s Journal and complete the quest returning to Kamsis, and she’ll give you the next task called “The Master’s Terrace.”
After obtaining the book, look for your inventory, read it, and search for the NPC Archmage Alturus outside Karazhan. Following these steps, Archmage Alturus will give you the next stage of this questline which is “Digging Up the Past.” Leave your Raid party and “farm” the required Charred Bone Fragments to complete this task.
Now, with the quest “A Colleague’s Aid,” you’ll need to obtain more Charred Bone Fragment and take them to the Netherstorm map within Outlands. Find the NPC Kalynna Lathred outside Area 52. She’ll give you the request to complete challenging dungeons (Sethekk Halls and The Shattered Halls). Between these dungeons, you’ll need to defeat bosses (Darkweaver Syth and Grand Warlock Nethekurse), which will drop the required items or buy TBC gold to complete the quest (Book of Forgotten Names and Tome of Dusk).
Return to the NPC Kalynna Lathred, and she’ll finally give you the last part of this questline, which is called “Nightbane.” When you complete this task, you’ll get the Blackened Urn and have the opportunity to summon the boss (Nightbane) within Karazhan.
- Obtaining the Blazing Signet:
Use the Blackened Urn to summon the boss in Karazhan called Nightbane and gather the Blazing Signet from the corpse.
- Final Step, The Mark of Vashj:
After you gather both Earthen Signet and Blazing Signet, travel to Zangarmarsh and look for the NPC Skar’this the Heretic within the dungeon The Slave Pens. When you finish the quest, he’ll cast The Mark of Vashj spell, which will give you access to the Serpentshrine Cavern.
