Saints Row: The Third Remastered Listing on GameFly’s Website
A retailer by the name of GameFly has listed an item ‘Saints Row: The Third Remastered’ on its websites with a May 7 release date and fans are already speculating if a third remastered version of the game is coming on PS4 and Xbox One. A retailer posting an unreleased item isn’t a new thing. The list updaters employed by the retailers don’t always realize whether a certain item has been announced or not and therefore, end up uploading entirely new items to the catalog.
According to the listing’s details, the new game is coming out on 7th May. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement from the developer regarding a new game’s arrival in the months ahead.

A brand-new Saints Row game has not come out the current generation consoles and the seems to have entirely skipped development for this generation with the console life now coming to an end later this year.
In 2015, a remastered edition of Saints Row IV was released on PS4 and Xbox One and early this year in March, Saints Row IV came to Nintendo Switch.
Saints Row: The Third Remastered Listing Removed Following Unwanted Attention
GameFly has now removed the listing probably because their site got unwanted attention. When unannounced items come to any website, fans throng the site and try to find out what it’s all about. And some end up posting the stuff on Reddit and in no time, developers realize their items have been listed without prior permission. Developers also don’t want to announce their titles with a random leak on some websites. Therefore, they try their best to remove any proofs of such unwanted leaks on any website. If you click on the GameFly’s link where ‘Saints Row: The Third Remastered’ was listed, you will be greeted with a message which says the page cannot be found.
Why Did They Remove the Listing?
It can be understood that developers are currently working on ‘Saints Row: The Third Remastered’ and they don’t want to spill the beans just yet. That’s why they got the listing removed from the website. Or maybe it was just a mistake on the website’s end but that’s quite an error to make. I mean, how could a lister imagine a whole new game and upload it on the website? The recent leak definitely points to something new coming from Volition. The images supporting the product were all black so expect to see the announcement for this new game along with teasers, trailers, and disc art in the days to come.

The listing ‘Saints Row: The Third Remastered’ didn’t have a proper image so the developer has not even provided images for the new game. Volition will most probably come with an announcement at the end of March or early April if anything listed on the GameFly was true.
