How to Control Recoil in PUBG?

Today we are taking a look at controlling the recoil in PUBG.

PUBG is a game easy to learn and hard to master. Since the release, most of the player base left this game, but there is still a very loyal, huge community. PUBG still holds several records as far we know. Because Fortnite generally does not announce their player counts. However, PUBG is available on Steam and it is easy to track. As we have said this game is hard to master. As a beginner in PUBG, you will need a lot of things such as map knowledge, and weapons, etc. However, none of this will matter if you cannot shoot the enemy. PUBG is especially hard in this field. PUBG weapon recoil is stronger than most games. Therefore, it is hard sometimes even for Pro players to do it. Today we will check out how to control recoil in PUBG?

First of all, training is the most important thing here. Most players will tell you to just jump into the training mode and pick up a gun and start shooting to a wall to learn it. Yes, this technique is valid. However, your opponents are not walls, they can hide, crouch, jump and run. Our suggestion is going into War Mode lobbies. To enter War Mode Lobbies, you need to follow these steps,

  • Click on Custom Match
  • Click War Mode
  • Refresh the Page
  • Adjust the filters (According to your preferences)
  • Choose a lobby and wait for it to be filled

War mode lobbies are fast spawning practice range with real players. A small portion of the map is inside the safe zone and players can respawn instantly when they die. You can practice only the weapons chosen by the host. But they will generally write which weapons are allowed.

Our second piece of advice is to learn about your mouse DPI settings. PUBG Pro players are generally playing either 400 DPI or 800 DPI. They also adjust their sensitivity according to their DPI. This effects the gameplay. So let us assume we are shooting at someone. Your first bullets recoil will be the strongest one. You will need to pull your mouse towards downwards. But sometimes the recoil is not controllable. Therefore adjust it according to your shooting.

If you are uncomfortable with using a rifle in full auto, just pick up a lesser recoiled gun such as UMP or Vector. These guns are easier to control. Also if the auto mode is uncontrollable for you. You can always use the weapons by switching the fire mode to single. This will affect your gameplay at close quarters combat, but help you at longer ranges. Also, keep in mind that it is easier to control recoil if you are crouching. This is very important, and it should become second nature for you. Crouching can make the recoil %50 lesser. It makes you a smaller target, but it is somewhat easier to hit your head. Keep in mind that when you are just starting to play stay away for a while, from guns like AKM and Beryl. These weapons have high recoil.
