Gears of War 6 – Will it be a Day Zero Title for Xbox Series X?

If you are already longing to see an official announcement from Microsoft regarding Gears of War 6 then you have already completed Gears of War 5 (and the whole series) six times and are wanting to see what happens next in the storyline.

Gears of War 5 had a lot of shocking twists in it and a lot of questions remained unanswered at the end of the game so the Coalition is probably working to provide answers to those loopholes in the storyline. And considering the fact that both Gears of War 4 and Gears of War 5 received positive reviews from fans and critics along with the games having pretty solid sale records, Coalition is bound to come up with a sequel in its series. Gears 6 Storyline and Gameplay Aspects

The Gears of War 6 story is guessable because Gears of War 5 end has a lot of loose ends requiring ties. The Coalition did a great job by improving the overall Gears of War experience adding new elements to the gameplay. For instance, Gears of War 5 had a punch of open-world and little Role-Playing aspects as well. The Coalition will definitely add new aspects to the gameplay in Gears 6.

Don’t Get Attached to Any Character

If you have played a few of those Gears of War games, you know that Coalition is great at breaking hearts by wiping out significant characters every once in a while, (I was totally shattered Santiago went straight into that gas reservoir and got killed with a loud bang in Gears of War 3). I even thought about not playing the game any further when Santiago died but then I wanted to complete the story so I eventually picked myself up. Therefore, be careful not to get attached to anyone in the Delta squad so that when someone (whom you really liked) dies at an unexpected moment, it will not make you feel like uninstalling the game.

The first 3 games in the Gears of War series revolved around Marcus Fenix and his legendary squad. Gears of War 4 and Gears of War 5 had soldiers from the generation after Marcus’s. Therefore, Coalition will continue the story of this new generation on Gears of War 6 as well.

Gears 6 Possible Release Date

Gears of War games are released at an interval of 2 or 3 years (at most) so fans are expecting to see Gears of War 6 come out in 2021 or 2022 (but that would be too late). But Xbox Series X is coming out in holiday 2020 so Microsoft may even make Gears of War 6 a day 0 title for its next-gen console. Would Gears of War 6 still run on the original Xbox One then? Microsoft hasn’t officially announced anything about Gears of War 6 yet so if I were you, I would take everything I heard about the generation exclusivity of the game with a grain of salt.
